Welcome
I AM NEW...
Where do I park?
There are several guest parking spaces on the East side of the building between the church and Happy State Bank.
How should I dress?
Come as you are! Whether you come in your "Sunday Best" or "Sunday Comfortable" you will fit in here. Because we believe worship that is personal is more powerful, we have two different worship services with unique worship styles to suit different worship style preferences. Our Traditional Service is at 9:00am and our Contemporary Service is at 11:15am.
Where do I take my children?
We have a nursery for infant to 5 year old and Sunday school classes for 3 year old to 6th Grade. Click here to go to the Children's page.
Do you have something for youth?
We have several opportunities for youth, including Sunday School, Wednesday Night Worship, and Sunday Night Small Groups. Click here to go to the Youth page.
What about college age?
We have a college and career Sunday School class that meets in the Basement Room B23 taught by Aaron Tudyk.
I'm here now what?
You're welcome to head directly to the Sanctuary or hang out in the parlor where coffee and snacks are available until service begins. Our ushers and greeters can help direct you to our children's and youth areas.
How can I find out more about FUMC?
We offer a class called "In the Know" which meets during our regular Sunday School hour (10:10am). It is on an ongoing rotating schedule and you can start it at anytime. The topics that are discussed each week are:
1st Sunday of the month - "Who is FUMC and what do you believe?"
2nd Sunday of the month - "What does it mean to be a member?"
3rd Sunday of the month - "How can plug-in here?"
4th Sunday of the month - "Can I get to know the pastor?"
5th Sunday of the month - "Why do we emphasize missions?"
I am hungry, what's for dinner?
Throughout the year we have our Wednesday Night Fellowship Meals that are prepared by our Kitchen Coordinator, Charlotte Wilson. They are in the Fellowship Hall from 5:30pm - 6:15pm on Wednesday nights September - November, and January - April. The cost of the meals are $3 per person or $10 per family.
